BOOK REVIEW

I will be reviewing the books I am reading, feel free to add comments or start a discussion about any of them. PS: I don't read very fast...
Twilight by Stephanie Meyer

Yah, Yah get your laughes out, I read the book. I watched the movie first and decided that it was worth it to at least give it a chance. I'm going to give it 8 out of 10. Better than the movie, but not quite vampire porn.

So in the first installation of this series the main character bella moves in with her father after her mother remarries and travels with her minor league baseball playing new hubby. In the Pacific northwest all is not what it seems. At first glance, the town seems like your average small town, everyone knows everything about everyone else type of place. At school though, Belle can't help but to feel like one family is completely out of place. Enter the Cullen's. They are uniquely different with paler thain usual skin and stunning features. The adopeted children seem to be in relationships with each other, hard to grasp at first, except for one; Edward. Belle becomes completely intrigued by Edward, thinking about him constantly. Until one, wet and icey, day Belle is caught in the path of certain death, when Edward swoops in and saves her. This sets off a chain of events in which Belle is determined to find out what this family raelly is. She becomes completely OC with Edward, and thus developes an intimate relationship with a uniquely different type of character. I found it entertaining to learn about the Cullen's family history, and became eagar to find out how Belle and Edwards relationship would develop. I recommend reading the book before seeing the film, that usually goes without saying, but I said it. I will definitly continue reading books in this series. I think New Moon is the next installment.

  1. They only get better :) Breaking Dawn, albeit long, is my fave.
